Evaluation

Surgery
Before taking you inside the operation room, parts to be sculpted will be marked with you standing to shape them to the desired size.
After Surgery
After surgery, there will be gauze padding and compression garment on the operated part. You can drink water after 4 hours and have some snacks afterwards.
Recovery
Special modifications need to be made to your regular life during the recovery period after this procedure. You are not allowed to sit directly on your buttocks or lie on your back for about 2 weeks. You will have to perforce lie on your stomach or the side as well as stand for all activities except when using the toilet. When your body has healed somewhat, your surgeon will allow you to sit on a ‘donut’ seat or by placing a pillow under your thighs. This is necessary to take the pressure off the buttocks. You will be allowed to sit normally only after 8 weeks or so.

About the Brazilian Butt Lift procedure at Ambrosia clinic in Hyderabad
The procedure of Brazilian butt lift is primarily that of fat grafting for a natural-looking result. Performed under general anaesthesia in most cases, if only a small volume of fat is to be transferred, it can be done under local anaesthesia also.
- The surgeon begins the first part of the treatment by removing fat by liposuction from larger fat deposit areas such as hips, abdomen and thighs, this is done through small incisions in the skin to liquefy the fat tissues and vacuuming it out with cannulas.
- The fat removed from the body cannot be used in its present composition and has to be purified to remove any other deposits that will not be conducive to being implanted.
- The third step of the procedure is when the surgeon injects the processed fat into the specific areas of the buttocks to create the desired rounded, full look. A total of three to five small incisions are made around the buttocks for the fat transfer.

What is the post surgery care after Brazilian Butt Lift?
After fat transfer into buttocks, it is advised to sleep on your stomach for 2 weeks till fat gets taken up by the body. When sitting it's advised to sit on a stool with butt slightly sticking out - for up to 4 weeks. After this time you can go back to your normal posture.
How is Brazilian Butt Lift different from Butt Implants?
The main difference between the two procedures is that the Brazilian Butt Lift is done with fat transfers from the patient’s own body and thereby completely safe; whereas the Butt Implants are silicone pouches inserted in areas of the buttock to enhance it. Buttock implants can sometimes lead to scar tissue formation around the implants which gradually become hard and begin to contract causing pain and even disfiguring the implant areas. Implants also have a risk of infection since it is after all a foreign body inserted.
