Evaluation

Once you have decided to undergo a FaceTite procedure in Hyderabad at Ambrosia, you will be evaluated for your fitness for anaesthesia and surgery (if the procedure you choose is surgical) by Dr Priti or if necessary by the anaesthesiologist. Your diagnostic test reports will be studied and you will be examined by taking measurements and clinical photographs for your medical record.

You will sign the consent forms and will be given detailed preoperative instructions in writing.

Surgery

Before taking you inside the operation room, parts to be sculpted will be marked with you standing to shape them to the desired size.

After Surgery

You will need help for the initial few days. Ensure to not indulge in any harsh physical activity that may undo the results of the procedure. Follow the post-operative instructions of your surgeon.

Recovery

You will be advised to rest and avoid physical activity until the incisions have healed. You will need some assistance initially. The recovery period is usually not very long and you can probably get back to work after 2 days. However, you can expect the mild swelling and discomfort to continue for a few days thereafter.

About the FaceTite procedure at Ambrosia clinic in Hyderabad

FaceTite combines radiofrequency waves with conventional liposuction. Once the anaesthesia has set in, the surgeon makes a small incision through which a probe with electrodes is inserted to deliver radiofrequency waves that liquify fat cells in the treatment area. A separate tube or cannula suctions out the liquefied fat.

The radiofrequency waves serve a dual purpose of assisting in collagen growth in the skin which help keep your skin toned and smooth. The loss of collagen as we age is what leads to wrinkles, age spots and skin pores and this is automatically diminished with this treatment as an added bonus to the face sculpting.

You will be advised to wear a compression garment to aid with the healing.

Although FaceTite mostly targets areas of the lower face, like the cheeks, chin and jawline; it can also be safely used for the neck area.

How efficient is FaceTite as a face contouring procedure?

FaceTite offers significant anti-aging results, but your individual results will vary.

What risks or side effects can be expected from this procedure?

All cosmetic procedures carry a risk, although mostly safe. However, given the small incision that is made for FaceTite the most common risks may be swelling, slight bruising and discomfort at the incision site. The less common side effects include infection and scarring.

How soon can I see the results of the procedure?

Although the results are visible almost immediately, the optimal results become noticeable only around 6 weeks through to about a year.
